Rex Heath
With over 40 years spent with Fire Services, Rex demonstrated a great devotion to his calling, and a generous and altruistic nature. Having been recently promoted to Chief of Fire Protection, he was celebrated by his colleagues at an awards ceremony just months before his passing. Recently a grandfather, Rex was only beginning to know his grandson when he sadly lost his battle with lung cancer early on Boxing Day morning. Rex was a truly devoted husband and patient father. Rex had a unique sense of humour and engaging laugh. He is missed every day by his family, friends and colleagues. (Submitted: Heath Family for the 2010 Fallen FF Memorial)
